What are the major differences between Flat Wefts and Hand Tied Wefts?
You can achieve the density needed with 2 layers of flat wefts equal to 6-7 layers of Hand Tied wefts
WYLDHART Flat Weft extensions are 100% cuticle human hair and double drawn from the top of the weft through the ends. There is no silicone coating so our hair will feel the same from day one to day 100 with proper care. They can be cut with no need for glue or fear of fraying. They lay flat against the head and can be stacked for a more custom look when installed. They are very thin, reusable and meant to be sewn around the top of the weft.
Hand Tied Wefts are a collection of pieces that have been tied by hand to make the smallest weft. They lay against the scalp similarly to the flat weft just a smaller top weft but cannot be staked in the same way. WYLDHART Hand Tied extensions have cut points along the weft to make them customizable lengths. We recommend using glue to seal the edge to prevent the edge of the weft from fraying if cut.
What products are best to use to care for WYLDHART extensions?
We recommend professional sulfate free products. Extensions do not receive nourishment from the scalp. Adding hair oil will help maintain the integrity of the hair and minimize tangling.
Can I swim while wearing WYLDHART extensions?
We do not recommend getting the extensions wet while swimming in chlorine, salt water, ocean, etc. Not only do these types of water cause damage to the extensions, they will also alter the color of the extensions. Also be conscious of aerosol sunscreens, they have been known to alter color.
Can WYLDHART extensions be colored?
Yes! WYLDHART extensions can be toned or dyed darker by a professional Artist. We strongly advise against trying to lift color or use bleach on them as it will compromise the condition of the hair and likely cause damage to the extensions.
How long do WYLDHART extensions last?
When taken care of properly, WYLDHART extensions can last up to 12 months.
What is the best way to sleep with WYLDHART extensions in?
Do not sleep with wet hair, this will cause unnecessary tangling. We recommend sleeping loose braid or a low loose pony. A silk pillowcase helps to support the health of extensions.
What is WYLDHART’s return policy?
Please fill out the Return Request form – request must be made within 15 days of original purchase date. Customer is responsible shipping costs.
There will be an automatic 15% restocking fee subtracted from the refund amount.
WYLDHART extensions must be in their original condition, UNOPENED and UNUSED, to be considered for a refund.

Will hair extensions damage my natural hair?
WYLDHART extensions should not cause damage to your natural hair if installed by a licensed Artist with extension experience.
